Sounds like someone has an old "climb pennsylvania" guide, 1985, from the PMA. But last time i checked, the Etown Pillar was located in Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, not Allentown.

Besides, its the support for the railroad tracks.

Do not try and climb here, if you get caught crossing the RR tracks you will be arrested. Access to this site is limited, either on RR property or across private land. There are only a few sport routes on this one bolted railroad tressle. The bridge prier is no longer used by the RR and is adjacent to the modern tracks. At most a few hours of climbing and then its all done.

did the user just post this up so they could "donate" beta to the site? I do not understand why someone would post up an area if the access is as said above. :roll:

its bolted, and anchored at the top. bout 70 feet. steep approach.
