i have been to pilot mtn. many times here in NC. i was wondering if anyone knows where the good boulders are. i have been told that there are some good boulders and good problems somewhere off of the bottom trail (along the base of the wall).

I just learned from someone that there are a couple of cool problems down the hill from the main climbing area, although I'm not sure of the exact location or quality as I have never seen them. Also there is one along the ridge, before you drop down the numerous gullies. It is visible from the main trail, to your right. Its pretty obvious with the numerous chalk marks, etc. Although I didn't get a chance to play much on it there are some cool overhangy moves to do.
Hopefully someone who knows a little more will post up, just wanted to offer what limited knowledge I have... :D

i dunno where y'all are hiking to the rock from (the top??)
but if you park in the VERY small lot at the top of tory rd???...you should trip over them getting to moore's wall
