Hi, New to the forum and a beginner climber with some experience. I Have been bouldering/ scrambling in the Garden and also some top ropes with my seven year old son, four weekends now. I have climbed potholes without any problem with another climber who was kind enough to belay me. I feel I can do a lot of the easier climbs in the Garden, but I need a partner to climb with. I won't whine or cry and I'll try not to hold you back. If anyone would be so kind as to help a newbie out I would be very happy. :D I know how to top rope, belay, rapell with confidence and I have been practicing knots...even reading books from the library. BTW I have a rope, shoes, harness and some gear. Vince

I climb down at the garden often. I'll be down there today and tomorrow at about 5:00 at the snakepit bouldering, probably with zozo if he can make it. You are more than welcome to show up and climb with us. Rob

rltodd00, Kool. I've got some time to kill after work so it's a good possibility I'll see you out there after 5.

anykineclimb, I just had some easy routes in the Garden in mind. Twin Spires, Montezuma Tower, possibly Cowboy Boot Crack. Some climbs for me to get some more experience in. If your up for it, let me know. Vince

Billydude, just post on the forum or send me a PM when it's close to the time you'll be here. I'm sure myself or someone else on RC.com can help you out.
