I am looking for a lightweight 4 seasons tent for 2 , i am going to use it in the Andes (Venezuela, ecuador, peru, bolivia).Bibler tent's are not an option. what brand and model do you recommend me ?. Thanks.

i also dig my trango 2, and lust after that new one. i forget what its called, eds tent :)

I believe the new one is called the EV-2. Mountain gear also has bibler's on sale right now. You might check out integral designs if you want a single wall. Sierra Designs tents can be found used for pretty cheap. I'd shy away from a TNF four season; they're bomber, but they weigh a ton and I found setup somewhat difficult.

Check out the North Face Mountain 25 I believe I have seen it for around $270.00 some place online recently. Great expedition quality 2 man tent

the north face Mountain 25 is awesome. ive had mine for years and its never had a problem. ive never seen the trango2 but it looks nice too. go check the two out in person if you can then decide from there.

Although they aren't big name, I would highly recommend Stephenson's custom made tents (www.warmlite.com). They are awfully hard to beat for weight and comfort.
