There are 3 bolted sport routes that I know of at QQ. One is 5.10 called under the big top, the other two are 5.9 and on the same wall (j wall) of those two I wouldn't want to take a leader fall on the bolts on one, the other route has some fairly widely spaced decent looking bolts. QQ is pretty much TR. I don't know of any trad protectable routes there. If you want to drive for a little while there is a place called crow hill about 2 hours west of boston with better trad opportunities. I don't climb trad yet, too new. This is all from the guide book "Boston Rocks". I climb at QQ quite a bit though. If you're gonna be in Boston I'll lend you my copy of the guide for the day, or I'm sure you can find someone on the MASS climbers thread to give you a tour. Good luck

yo,
there's a huge community of climbers in the boston area. check out the MASS CLIMBERS THREAD, as well as nebouldering.com.
nearest sport area is Rumney (2 hrs. North), there is trad/toprope climbing in Crow Hill and around the area in smaller places, including near Boston College (so long as you don't mind 35 ft. 5.7s). "Boston Rocks," available at your nearest EMS (and maybe REI?) is brand new and I have heard good things (it came out just as I was moving away last fall).
You can find bouldering much closer, including at Hammond Pond (the BC spot) and an hour north and south of the city in NH/RI (respectively), at two world-class bouldering areas, Pawtuckaway and Lincoln Woods.

Definitely check out Crow Hill for leading, though be aware that it often stays wet for a few days after it rains, and it is still a bit early in the season for the really nice routes to be dry. There is good leading there from 5.4 through 5.11. Quincy Quarries is mainly TR, but there are climbs there to be led. Try outside corner (5.8) or Double Overhang (5.6). Right down the street from Quincy Quarries is Rattlesnake Rocks. I've only been there once, but have heard there is some decent leading there. North of the city is RedRocks, which I believe also has leading possibilities. Other climbing spots in the area include College Rock in Hopkinton and Hammond Pond in Newton.
Boston Rocks is your best bet for a guidebook. New England Climbing (Stewart Green, Chockstone Press) is also ok. Feel free to PM me for more info. There is a group of us (see the Mass Climbers Thread) that try to climb a couple days a week after work in the area

dbyte I said I don't lead trad and I was just refrencing Boston rocks. There are definately two bolted routes on the j wall. I TRed the leftmost one last week. There are four total G or PG rated climbs at QQ in Boston rocks, 3 of which I mentioned. I didn't write the book I just bought it.

there are actually 2 sport bolted routes on the J wall, one of the climbs is called Pins, I forget the other. No harm done it's just online, If we met at the crag I'm sure you'd be nice.

oops, I was confusing j wall with k wall. Pins and tensile strength are the sport climbs on k wall.
