Just thought I would share a laugh.
The other day I was giving a group lesson at my gym. It was an older group of people in there 50's and 60's. Myself and the other instructor were giving a demo on what they would be doing. After the demo we started on the double figure 8 knot. As I went around to check the peoples knots I got to a lady who looked kind of puzzled. She asked me if she had done it right I told her yes and turned to check the next persons, then out of the corner of my eye I see her FALLING FORWARD. As her face is hitting the ground I ask her "what are you doing!!?" She rolls over and says "but I thought you said I tied it right"
Anyone else have a good laugh?

Oh, man!
You gotta love those newbie mistakes! Apparantly, my brother, did almost the same thing in his gym class on the indoor wall last year and I still give him crap for it.

Ok.
The lady was'nt on belay and she did'nt even have any tension on the rope.
She tried to test the knot without any belay
so she just dropped and hit the floor. She must of thought with the knot being tied that she was on belay.
Now that is trusting your knot!!
