I finally got to see the "rockfall" to the right of Gunsmoke this weekend. As I was quite unaware and how unbelieveably large this "piece" was, I took a few pics, for anyone who hasn't seen it already. Very impressive, but thank goodness no one was there at the time. Ranger mentioned this happend in February of last year.

A friend of mine told me that someone had just finished a bolted face route up the block that fell a couple of days before it cut loose. Scarey for them...

Yep. They bolted it, then there were 3 days of rain, then it slid out.
