i was reading a website guild for climbing for an area in north Van...it said like 90% of the area was bolted for sport and i quote " Aid Practice" is that basicly like aid climbing off the bolts?? on my little rock wall (200 square foot bouldering cave under my patio) i sometimes throw up about 10 hangers and aid climb that when i need a change

Yep. Working bolt ladders is a great way to learn the moving systems required to aid. In particular, it's nice to do this on an over hang or traverse since aiding through those presents a unique challenge for someone who has never done it. Ed
