I've been climbing for almost a year now. I've waxed the 5.10's, but can't seem to break the 5.11's. Any tips to get me over this block?

climb 11s, choose a few you like and start hitting them regularly, 11b's or c's. doesn't matter if you don't reach the top, just go for em over and over till you get them, then choose others and go at those. you could also try climbing 12's but that's a bit harder still do the trick tho

Climb like a mad-man. Get your climber friends together and push them further.Soon they will be pushing you and then you will get better, quicker. Or just sit at home and do nothing this always helps.

I would suggest a few things but right now I'm only climbing at 5.11a so take it for what it is worth. Look into getting a copy of Eric Horsts book how to climb 5.12 there is a ton of information including one of the most important things called the mental game. If I were you I would keep climbing hard 10's and then get on a few 11a's even if on TR, then look for the RP. At the back of the 5.12 book you will find pyramids that will lead you to each level all the way to 5.13 check it out.

Thanks, guys!
I guess I just needed some outside support as well. I'm also going to check out that book!
