Has anyone out there used Nicros HIT Strips, the system training strips developed by Eric Horst? Any comments on the strips themselves and/or on Horst's training method?

Check out this thread for my feelings about Nicros.

The training method may be good, but don't support Nicros. Nicros = Bad.

heard there pretty good, but you have to be quite strong already, meaning adjusted to climbing stresses in the fingers. So if your new to climbing forget them, you'll just get hurt.

and expensive!

They're expensive because Nicros is a nazi corporation bent on domination of a market.

Sorry, but I'm with Pianomahnn on this one. Nicros sucks. Big and bad. How do I know? Because I work at a climbing wall that Nicros built. At first, we thought the textured wall was a dream come true. It's not, it sucks. I hate it. It falls apart, the holds suck and turn a lot because they don't hold flush against the wall, the holds do not clean well, and JUST TRUST ME!!! NICROS SUCKS!!! Grrrrrrrr... DOWN WITH NICROS!!!! If you want good training, build your own hangboard. It'll be better than any of the sh*t Nicros makes!
