Just a quick question about this route at the NRG. Does the route go up the left facing dihedral to a traverse to the right under the roof? Or do you pull the roof and continue straight up? Thanks for your help, Boss

Traverse up right. After getting above the roof, you can traverse left (to shuts) or up right (to shuts). I think up right is a little harder. Edited to to correct error - shown in bold.

Climb the corner, traverse right under the roof, pull the roof at its right edge, and continue up the corner to a pair of shuts on the left. Don't go up and right across the face to the pair of shuts there, that's a 5.10 runout. These shuts belong to the 5.12 to the right of PMB. Gert

Hehe, Gert is right, go left to the shuts near the top. I went to the shuts on the right and it's a little scary.

I've heard several people say the same thing. Go left, go left! From what I hear, the holds on the right are slopers and the line a bit runout with bad gear. Boss
