Moving to Red Deer next week... and dying to climb!!! I've heard that Sylvan Lake may have some bolted routes... butI can't find any info on it. Otherwise, I figure I'll have to commute into Calgary to crank on some plastic on the weekends... is CCC the place to climb??? ...Oh, and does anyone want a partner - for inside and out in the Calgary/Red Deer area???

the CCC is a great place to climb, The stronghold is also a good place. There Must be a rockclimbnig gym in Red Deer, I think there is a big Community Rec Centre that has good facilites, but I am just going by what I have heard, by non-climbers. - Welcome to Alberta.

Well, not to get you too excited, but "The Crux Indoor Climbing and Bouldering" will be Calgary's newest and premier gym. It will be the highest indoor gym in Canada. It will have 72 foot lead climbs and over 12,000 sq feet of climbing. Coming this fall. Location: Barlow and 16th Avenue NE. Web: http://www.thecruxclimbing.com Check it out! Regards, Matthew
