I have noticed in the past couple weeks while looking at some cams to get that the Wild Country Tech Friends have dropped quite a bit at the major retailors (EMS & REI). Normal price is around $49 each, but REI had them for $35 and EMS has them for $30. I called REI to see if they would be getting the sizes that are sold out back in stock and they said no. My question is does anyone know why the tech friends have dropped to such a low price? DJ

I was curious too. In fact, I emailed Shoreline, shorelinemtn.com, and asked them if they knew about the potential price drop, told them about REI and EMS prices. I asked if they'd soon be having prices the same as REI and EMS on their technical friends. Imagine how cheap the rigid stems would be if they dropped in price the same amount as the tech friends!
