I want to set up a slackline in my back yard, but I have no trees back there, but a lot of open space. I've seen pictures of the line running over a ladder, but obviously it has to be anchored to the ground somehow. Any suggestions on this?? I'm looking for something I can breakdown and take apart.

I've never tried multiple spikes in the ground, I've seen that, but for my yard doesn't *SEEM* like it would work - my backyard can flood pretty good at times (at least where the slackline would go). What I'm *planning* on doing soon: dig up a large hole, like for a fence post, and pour in some concrete, using a tube so that there is a hollow hole in the concrete. the concrete would lie a few inches under the grass line. Then to use it, I simply take a heavy duty steel pole and insert into the concrete hole.. If I move (I'm a renter), then I can cover up the hole with dirt and grass. Plus, it's easy to tear down, so when it's time to cut the lawn, it's all good. And no turning your lawn into swiss cheese with stakes. But remember, I haven't done this yet - so I could be blowing smoke out my ass :) Sounds good tho, right?
