does anyone know if there are any sport climbing areas near Nordegg, Alberta? i have to go to a wedding there and was hoping to get some quick climbs in. :?

not really near Nordegg
It depends on what you call quick climbing. Around Canmore there is lots of climbing with short approaches.

i just got an e-mail from the Center for Outdoor Education in Nordegg. here's their reply if you're interested:
Yup there's some sport climbing around here. Our guides have done the
majority of the route development and one of our senior guides, J Mills, has
created a guide book for the local area. THe cost is $5, just a donation to
the bolt fund. WHen you're around stop by here and we'll set you up with
one.
