Got down south on Business and hired a guide to go climbing at T-Wall. Many thanks to Rod Thomas of The Adventure Guild in Chattanooga, TN. So Rod gave me the true southern experience by taking me in this older faded grey ford pickup, down this back country road chasing chickens. About the climbing: Great climbing, only about 80 foot routes some 100 footers. We did a couple of classics while I was there. Two outstanding routes that we did were Passages a 5.8 and Golden Locks a 5.8+. Golden Locks is a pure hand crack. If you like crack you'll love Golden Locks. A must do!!!! Plastic Toys 5.7 has a nice opening move. 10 foot boulder that you need to step off of onto the face. The rock is sandstone but not desert sandstone. Takes a little getting used to if you never climbed on it before but you get the hang of it fairly quickly. Great time if you are down that way.
