Hi!
We are from Russia (the Ural’s region).
The year of 2002 is considered to be the year of mountains.
That’s why we together with the fund “Ascent” decided to gather all who love mountains, communications, new acquaintances, nature, outdoor, climbing, rocks, fishing, songs near the fire. We are going to float down the river Chusovaya. This river is situated on the board of the Asia and Europe. 2 years ago we already have traveled along this river and we liked it very much. Chusovaya is the most wonderful and beautiful river in the Urals.
This action is nonprofit and though we don’t have any sponsors yet, it will be very cheap for every participant. So we’ll be grateful for any help.
The beginning of our floating is the 15th of July, and it will last for 7 days.
Take your friend with you. We hope you’ll join us, and we’re waiting for a soon answer from you, because we have to decide everything with the documents as soon as possible.
If you want to look around the Urals let us know and we’ll show you all the sightseeings, we’ll visit local rocks, and for friends we’ll always find where to live and what to eat.

Way too short notice for me, but it sounds like fun, maybe you could plan one a year in advance or even 8-10 months.
