This would be a great park to boulder at if the Ohio authorites would just let people climb. There could be some classic problems but the top rope kind of takes the fun out of it. I am always upset to see the NO ROCK CLIMBING signs that are up in other parks of Ohio. Not letting people climb is stupid. I wonder if there is anything we could do to get local aurhorites to let us climb!!!

I think this is an excellent point. There are numerous bolted routes in the Clifton Gorge which are now illegal to climb due to a fatal accident - that's the word on the streets at least. However, climbing technology is constantly advancing towards a safer sport. It might be very possible to repeal the old laws and reopen some good climbing walls if enough residents wanted it to happen. I, for one, am ready for such a movement. Anyone else interested ought to contact me and we can take the next step.
