Anyone know what the current snow condtions are on some the 14ners near Buena Vista? preferably Mt Belfod, Mt Oxford, or Mt Laplata. thanks

steve -- leave your snowshoes at home. there are scattered patches everywhere, but they are easily circumvented.

Get an early start the afternoon thunderstorm cycle has really been lighting it up around here the last few days. :shock: A little fresh snow on Mt Ouray this PM.

Just did Belford and Oxford on Sunday. The trail is all clear except maybe 10 foot patches of snow occasionally near the top. If you are hoping for snow, we intentionally climbed a nice snow couloir on Belford that should still be in.
