Hey all you New Englanders! I am on an Environmental Education (EE) mailing list and I just received this. I can't attend, but I thought some of you might be interested... "Hello New England EE - I want to let your members know about the 2002 Vermont Summer Land Conservation Program - a series of short courses and workshops offered May 20 - June 22 in various locations throughout Vermont - for students, professionals, and volunteers involved in land conservation. This year's program explores "Knowledge of Place: The Art and Practice of Conservation and Stewardship." This year's courses include: Selecting & Designing Land Conservation Projects Natural Landscape Inventory & Assessment International Land Stewardship Emerging Leaders: Philosophy & Skills for Conservation Professionals Knowing Place: The Imagination, Drawing, & Collage Writing a Way through the Woods Conserving Vermont Landscapes: Analysis and Action Complete course offerings and registration information are available at http://www.nps.gov/mabi/csi/summer.html.
