Hey colorodoians. I'm planning a trip out there next weekend (friday afternoon to sunday morning) from Atlanta, Georgia-- just a quick fly in for a day or two and fly out to take advantage of a plane ticket... Can any of you give me some great beta as to a good crag I can go to for a day or two, as close to any major airport as possible? I can't really afford to spend too much money on a rental car right now... I'm thinking of flying straight in to Denver, so probably anything nice and big and hopefully as unpopulated as possible as near the Denver airport... Tell me if there are any better airports, and i'll check the availability of flights... It would be awful to get somewhere and for there to be waiting lines to all the rock lines since I'll only be in Colorado for about a day and a half... I'm not picky-- sport or trad, but nothing above a 5.10 lead... i've been out of climbing for awhile and still need to get strong again. Also, any advice on the kind of trad gear necessary for climbs out there... (i.e.: big cams or little cams?) would be great too. Thanks! I'm going to itch over to Borders on the small chance there are some guidebooks on CO there... though probably not.

You want big and qaulity go staight to Eldo.....about a hour and halfs drive from DIA. Get a cheapo rent-a-car and go for it. There really is not to much rock close to the airport.
