The first bolt on this route was replaced with a bomber 1/2" stainless rawl and Petzl hanger. The original 1st bolt is still there, due to the lack of crow bar at the scene of the 1/2" installation. Afterwards, clip the original pins (which look much better than the original bolts) then clip a new petzl hanger to the belay. The last bolt is original 3/8" rawl, retro-fitted with a new hanger. The anchors need some work...possibly a new bolt/piece of chain to accompany the spinning and worn out Metolius hangers. This area is overlooked in the subject of route maintenance. I wanted to replace that 1st bolt for many years.

you mean a 1/2" Stainless Rawl/Powers 5 piece bolt ?

Very nice. and expensive.

I don't know many who are willing to pay that kind of money for a bolt.
