I am deciding where to go for 5-7 days with my kids. I would very appreciate if you can suggest a kids friendly climbing area in Alberta or Central BC. Preferably with a camping site and lake or river closeby. Thanks.

sorry it took so long to reply..
Near Canmore there are (in best to still prety accessable order)

Heart Creek, has camping close by, and a creek (which is safe to drink from) and the aproach is almost paved.

Cougar Canyon, same, but a little longer appproach and has som creek crossing.

Grotto Canyon would be good (exept for the alley)

Barrier is also decent, has a lake near by, but the aproach is fairly steep, yet short.

Grassi lakes isn't too bad either.

all have camping near by.
