Hey guys, just wanted to know if anyone around the area wanted to get a group together to goto The New WV this summer. The date can be flexible for those going. If anyone is interested and wants to get a group to go this summer that would be great.

I would definitely be down for a trip, but I agree that the New should be an option. That is where a lot of NC climbers get their rocks on. Just a suggestion. -Don Diego-

The New or Seneca... if I'm not mistaken, Coopers is mostly bouldering. Bouldering hurts me. Ouchiiee!

HELL yes. Stayed at Roger's two weekends ago with Stigonrock and Bryan from this site. Lots of cool stuff there. And Summerville Lake is only about 20 minutes north as well.

hell yeah. if you want, i can talk to some people and maybe get you a nice camping area for free. and its right next to a bouldering wall. and skatepark if youre into it

Can someone direct me to information pertaining to how I could get to New River Gorge (ie where the nearest airport is etc.)
I am planning a 4-5 day trip to NRG in late July. Can any locals or people that are familiar with the area PM me?

I actually plan on bein up that away the last week of june, but not with climbers. so i would love a chance to latch onto some of you guys and hit it up a day or so, keep in thouch, that would be sweet as anything. been there only once, have an itching to go back.

I will be at the new staying at rogers on june 22 ... I'm sure I'll be the only guy driving cherokee with a Florida license plate so stop over.
I was at rogers a few weeks ago ... who the hell was playing the bongos at 2am?

Well, according to what everyone said, late June should be the best time. I think the weekend of June 21st-23/24 would be a good date for this gathering. I need to check my schedual during that weekend and see if I can go. I also need a road trip partner because things will get boring on the 4-5 hour ride. Let's get things organized during early June and have things finalized by mid June. Sound good everyone? I will PM you with this exact message incase you dont check back to this post.
