Point Perpendicular.
Cool because you are sitting on top of 80 m cliffs that drop basically straight into the ocean on one side and a beautiful bay on the other, there are whales, sharks and pods of dolphins to be spotted on a regular basis, the rap in is scary as hell, and the climbing is often 3 star, long pitches on pretty much unique pocketed sandstone. There are also hundreds of quality routes that you know you will never get on in your lifetime.

What's the most impressive place you've ever been climbing?

If you just want to get wowed, the Fitz Roy region (El Chalten) is the most impressive place I've ever seen. And it's definitely cool: in fact the weather downright sucks. Unless you're a glutten for punishment, forget the big peaks, stash the tent and rent yourself a place to stay in town. Then spend your time hiking, bouldering and sportclimbing. And don't forget the storm parka.

The Needles! Spooky. High energy, classic cracks, bold faces, endangered spieces, no crowds, new route potential, more than a man should ask for.

While J-Tree is probably my favorite place to climb on a regular basis, I think the Wind Rivers and the Tetons are some of the coolest places that I've ever been. Sierra backcountry, ah damn it is just too hard to decide.

Wild Iris (odd I know, but its all about the location).
Eldo (first place I really got a taste of big climbs).
All of Moab (including Wall Street)
JTree.
Devil's Tower.
Snowy Range (its hard to believe there's all this stone, the area is impossibly crowded, and near as I can tell I'm the only one who's climbed there in over a month).

so many fine places.

squamish--cuz i live in vancouver. memorial ledge is my favorite place to chill. great views.
bugaboos-beautiful, great rock
south pembroke in wales--rap in sea cliffs. limitless number of single pitch routes in a fine setting with great beer and cheap camping
chamonix--omigawd. alpine granite mostly easily accessible. the routes!
baffin-haven't been. beyond me, but from what i've seen !!!!
arapiles sounds awesome
yos-i gotta get there!
font-i had so much fun, even though i'm not a boulderer. each little area is different from all the others in looks, rock type, vegetation. great wine and cheese nearby. hey it's in france.
gunks--not so beautiful but the routes are so cool. 5.4 with a roof move!
thailand-haven't been but hey, climbing on a beach? does it get any better?
pantagonia-haven't been but looks spectacular
north wales--this place just exudes history. loved it. cenotaph corner is stunning http://www.cs.bris.ac.uk/~stefan/pics/corner1.jpg

As popular as it is, I still love bishop. Just walking around the town or cruising around the buttermilks makes me happy :)
