Hey all, Just wanted all of you to know that I found this fun climbing game. It's wierd at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty fun. Here's the link http://www.cyberclimber.com Enjoy Andy (edited title) [ This Message was edited by: pianomahnn on 2002-05-09 22:53 ]

Easy stuff once you get a handle on the movement and what the climber is capable of. I want an update to include dyno's and what not. It'd be cool to get a whole character to build up, but I guess that's the nerd in me coming out.

There is actually a game made by activision value called "Power bar rock climbing" just search it somewhere and you'll find it. I've never played, but it says you cn build your climber up and compete, pluss it's only around $15.

About that powerbar xtreme climbing game, I saw this review on electric playground : "This isn’t a game that you will actually play. This is a game to add to your rock climbing collection. Put it on the shelf beside your guidebooks, Joe Simpson novels and The Freedom of the Hills. Sit around your computer with your climbing buddies on rainy days and laugh at how each of the available characters has their zodiac sign listed. Watch the climbers dyno to every second hold. Snort in disgust when, in your attempt to free solo (that’s climbing without the protection of ropes) an “Xtreme” crag, you grease off and the penalty is neither paralysis, head trauma nor even broken limbs, but a simple five second penalty. The three click interface is only marginally more related to climbing than an accuracy meter. The voice-overs are goofy and you can’t even have a two player race. You will never play this game but you probably still want it simply because it’s about rock climbing. So, go ahead and buy it. It’s cheaper than most quick-draws and you’ll probably use it more than your anodized red fifi hook." About what I expected of something like that. Guess I better go ahead and buy it now! Jeremy

I kept trying to make the cyberclimber heelhook, flag and highstep but he didn't wanna do it. The little bastard doesn't even know how to dropknee. I'm surprised he can climb anything at all!

this game is so stupid! i mean, it's fun and i was laughing at it while falling, but it's so limited! i mean, i can't put my left foot where i want it cuz it keeps moving my right foot, and then you can't (like was said before) dyno or flag or do any cool stuff like that. BUT, i have to give credit to whoever made it. i've never thought a climbing game was even possible to create!

I would just like to say that no matter how dumb cyberclimber.com is, it is what helped me live through computer 1 this year.
