Although there is still 2 months left climbing outdoors, University is starting up and along with it is the Winter Training season. I am intested in starting up a training club for any intested parties. Membership is Free, and improvement is guaranteed. I envision training sessions all winter long, mostly at the University Bouldering wall, but also field trips to the gyms around town and muti-pitch rope management, trad climbing and anchor building sessions at the Univeristy Climbing wall. Also for those interested, there is always ICE climbing. There will be 3 groups as follows: B1 group, new climbers and sub 5.10 grade. Focus in this group will be fundementals, technique training, climbing safety and Fun. B2 group, expeianced climbers, 5.10 climbers. Focus in training will be advanced movement , strength and endurance training. B3 group, 5.11+ climbers, focus on improving your spesific weaknesses. All groups will have regular climbing times that work best for the members. This will keep people focused on improving their climbing skills and motivated to climb. If you are interested in joining a group, Contact me I will be away from my computer next week, so expect a reply from me sometime after Sept 5. Hopefully if this club gets organized fast enough, we will be able to organize out-door climbing before the snow files.

hey, what do you think of cam's idea for the bouldering club? Maybe I could help out, and we could get somehting going there as well. Then the holds wouldn't be so greasy all the time, and we'd have permission from opc to change the holds as well. Let me know what you think.
