I'm sure this has been done before, but I haven't seen it. Many of us have amazing dogs, and I'm curious to see 'em! Please don't turn this into a "dogs at/not at the crag" discussion, lets just enjoy some awww-inducing photos... Frankie, my husky/white shepherd mix. Wonderful cragging dog- well behaved and sweet, though a little too smart. She's setting the bar high for all my future dogs. http://www.rockclimbing.com/...p.cgi?Detailed=38839 Here's good ol' Henneh, never without a ball in her mouth. Got to be the most devoted, attentive dog I've known. We leave her home when we climb, though- she doesn't like not being able to keep track of us when we're up on the rock. (whine, pace... whine, pace...) http://www.rockclimbing.com/...p.cgi?Detailed=38840

Isn't it interesting how their eyes go from an insane, deep blue in puppyhood to an icy blue? I knew you would post, maculated, but man you were fast! And you may have opened a whole new bag o' worms with the puppy shots....

http://www.geocities.com/wildtrail/Dogs.GIF Morgan is a 3-year old male Black Lab/Springer Spaniel mix. He's 99.9% black (outside of random/stray white hairs) and basically looks like a Lab. He just has a short little tail. Dingo is a little over 1 year of age and is a female Austrailian Cattle dog/Chow mix. The only evidence of Chow is the pink and black spotted tongue. She's mostly brown with a very dark brown/black face with mocha-colored eyes. She scares people because her eyes are so light on such a dark face. Morgan is 57 pounds. Ding is 35 pounds. Gee, I should probably get one of them digital camera thingies, eh?

Wild, you are so amusing. I'd try that too, but I'm left handed and can only use a mouse with the right hand. Magpie - this is what you get when you are writing essays and taking lots of "breaks."

In reply to: Wild, you forgot to mention the cow/pig mix apparently in both dogs.... Yeah, sorry. You should see their bodies! 800 pounds, pink, utters, a corkscrew tail, brown spots...the works!
In reply to: Wild, you are so amusing. I'd try that too, but I'm left handed and can only use a mouse with the right hand. Would have probably turned out better than my rendering!

These are my dogs, Spike and Nookie: http://www.rockclimbing.com/...p.cgi?Detailed=38895 This is them playing in a meadow near Bennettville in the Sierras. Spike is the black lab and Nookie is the white one. Both are as sweet as can be, but Nookie was abused as a puppy before we rescued him so he is terrified of men. Took him almost 2 years to get used to me and my dad. Both are great crag dogs, but they prefer playing in the snow.

http://img19.exs.cx/img19/2056/cedar.jpg ^This our my dog, Cedar, she is an american cocker spaniel. About a year and half old and so far well behaved. She's great. We adopted her from our neighbor's friend. The family had her but never paid attention to her. The wife told us we could keep her. The husband didn't even know the dog was gone for 2 weeks, and when he found out he wanted her back!!! http://img50.exs.cx/img50/4416/snickers.jpg ^This is Snickers, an english cocker spaniel. This was the best dog we have ever owned. It was the most intelligent and strong dog(for it's breed) I have ever seen. A breeder offered us 2,000 dollars for it when it was only 4 months old. We had to put him down 2 years ago. -nick
