so i have a small home wall and i was wondering what suggestions anyone had on what companies to buy holds from or how to make holds. Has anyone tried making bondo holds? Also how does one make a train for crack climbing on a home wall? If anyone is looking to build their own wall i have a few tips from experience but i'm always looking for ways to improve my own wall (especially cheap ways).

For how to make concrete holds.
The concrete holds here are badazz. I've made them for my own wall. It took some calling around to find the Superplasticiser, but it was worth it. I also talked to several concrete guys, to figure out how to make stronger concrete.

How did you connect the two pieces and still leave the crack.

Hey Josh,
Just like in the #3 picture.
Those bolts on the inside go through the frame. They have nuts on either sides to tighten it up. I can't belive how sturdy it is. It does'nt flex at all. And the crack is adjustable. As well as the whole wall can can be adjusted for diferent degees of overhang.

that is a sweet thing you got going on there crack addict.
now are there two 4' x 8' plywood sections there(with the crack in the middle)?

They are just 4x8x3/4" pine planks.
Kind of like what you would use for shelving.
You can use 2x8 planks as well It would be more sturdy. But I went for the thiner because of weight and so I could move it around easier.

Bondo didn't work out quite how I expected. I ended up getting a cheap Motermaster immiation AutoBody filler. Anyways, it's extremely hard to mold by hand. I ended up just making a mold. The holds turned out nice and strong, however they are somewhat slippery. I tryed adding sand to the mix but it didnt really work too well.
