I cross train on my bike and squeeze the GRIP ball at work all day then I climb alot. and when I want to head home hit a boulder a couple times. I think the cross training really helps because you get pumped when your body can't get the blood out of your arms so cardio should help that problem. At least that is my theory.

i think that's a good theory, in fact, alot of my friends that climb really well run too. like Katie Brown and Sonnie Trotter. i have tried running, in fact, i try it about once a year, then i can't walk for 3 days and my legs hurt for a week, so i don't do it any more, ha.

if im training for strength, i got to the gym and boulder for a fwe hours, then hit the real gym when my shoulders and forarms are wasted, i usually takes about 4-6 hours to fully KILL them, but hey.. ..i have the time.
endurance i just traverse my ass off in the gym (like today), maybe 1 or 2 boulder probs for fun.
