Fred Roughling did "AKIRA" a route he rated 15b but people claimed BS on the ascent and no one has repeated it, but nobody has repeated the "Biograpy Extension" either so I guess that there are no confirmed 15's until someone repeat's either of the routes.

Manboy I read in a previos post on this site that Yuji Hirayama and someone else had tried it and said it was at least a grade harder than any thing they had tried.

hehe, i downloaded it last night, ive watched it about 10 times so far..
..its amazing, i especially love that move at the very end of the crux, just after he has that rest.. ..he kind of pushes off one foot, then off the second to pinch into that dodgy hold. ..it looks great, defying gravity.

The whole boldering the crux getting a no hands and tie'ing in is pretty WHACKY. After learning more about "Akira" I definetly think "Realization" is a better route and I think it will see a repeat alot sooner than "Akira". I have never seen a picture of "Akira" but I would have to imagine "Realization" is a more astetically pleasing route.

Bernabe Fernandez has also done a 5.15a+ (Orujo en Archidona, Spain) and I think he has even done a 5.15b too.
