Hi guys! Just want to know if i would like to climb at Lion Rock, should I go up from Shatin or should I go up from Kowloon? Is there any markings on routes like Austrian Staircase and etc?? Do people boulder at Amah Rock?

You can go to Lion rock both from Shatin & Kowloon. It is more convenient from Kowloon side. Get off at Lok Fu MTR station,take a minivan or taxi to "Tim Ma Yuen" Lion rock countrypark. Then, follow the trail up the hill.It takes 30 min to the Crag.

There is no marking about the routes.You can check http://www.hongkongclimbing.com to download Lion rock climbing Topo.

No topo for the east face of Lion Rock as yet but its easy enough to suss out which routes are which from the descriptions
