The new Great Falls Guide has some new routes listed in the area just below the downstream observation deck.
O Wall 5.8
Excellent intermediate. Starts with a pumpy diagonal crack (hand matches and foot work) finishes left directly through the bulge (good visual puzzler, the holds are all there, but were?) This climb is difficult to protect. In addition to two anchors over not so positive rock projections, I placed a cam deep in a small pocket near the edge. I would'nt climb here on busy weekends because of it's close proximity to tourist traffic.
National Acrobat 5.9+
These climbs have excellent anchor locations and can be climbed from one anchor. Acrobat is balancey and pumpy. The platform is nonstop overhanging with a fall away dead point to an undercling. One word: burly.
Look for descriptions of Overtujour 5.10, Technostrataman 5.12 and the unfinished Sweet Leaf soon. Anyone get these yet?
