This morning I woke up with a pinch in my neck, and it has prevented me from turning my head far to the right. I had the exact same injury a couple of months ago, and the pain started to occur only after i woke up. Im assuming it must've been caused because of the way I slept that night, but Its starting to become fairly annoying, and makes it impractical to even think about climbing. Anyone else ever have this "injury" and knows how to relieve it with little recover time. all thoughts and opinions are welcomed -matt

I may have suffered from the same type of injury about 4 months ago. I had a pinched nerve in my neck, that caused severe pain if I turned my head or attempted to bend my neck the wrong way. I tried everything from anti-inflammatories to massage therapy to chiropractic. The thing that finally worked for my was physio. After three months of very little improvement, 6 phsyio treatments in 1.5 weeks made all the difference in the world. [ This Message was edited by: cindos on 2002-05-22 12:12 ]

I think I had the same problem as you. I landed on my back awkwardly on a trampoline. If I turned my head, it'd kill and spread to my shoulder. I tried accupuncture, and it fixed the problem straight away. Try it and see
