If I stay at the campground is there a place close by to eat? Nothing fancy, just a place to get coffee and eggs in the morning and something in the evening.

There's nothing right there. The closest is probably 15-20 minutes South on rt. 52, toward Winston-Salem.

The town of Pilot Mtn has a couple restaurants. Not very far at all. How far is King down the road? Lots of stuff there. The best coffee/breakfast in town while camping..is found right at the camp site..especially while car camping.

In Pilot (about 2 miles north of the campground) there is the Mountain View Restaurant and a new Wendy's that serves breakfast. Cousin Gary's is down the street. I think Cousin Gary's & Mountain View has buffett. In King, (about 8 miles south) there is Town & Country and the King Kitchen. There are also McDonalds (Pilot & King), Burger King and Bojangles in King.
