F.Y.I. The shaded side of the Black Cliffs offers about 100 climbs on textured, steep basalt. All of the climbs are in the shade in the afternoon and climbing is nice and cool even on a 90+ degree day. The routes start at 5.10a and go up to 5.14a. For more info see Boise climbs.

go to the Easter Island. There are a bunch of brad new 5.11's over there and all of them are fun. The Easter Island is just to the right of Nixon Head (looking up from the river). On the fare right the bolted arete and roof is a very good 11b. Just to the left is a bolted face 5.11d, best at the cliffs. Some fun gear and bolted lines in the upper 10 and 11 range further to the left. Let me know who it went.
