Looking to take some friends top roping this weekend and we've done castle rock,el diablo, etc. Is this place any good? doesn't sound like it but are there any other suggestions?

Looking for 5.9's, 5.10's, and some 5.11's.

Thanks,

Jason

I hiked out there once to check it out. It didn't look any good.

Hmm, I should add that I've done some toproping at Guadalupe rock in Los Gatos as well. It's small, but theres about 8 topropes you can do, easily accessable anchors. Minimal approach.

I think it's in bay area rock, and the database on this site. It'd be fun for a half day. There's also a few lead bolts on it. I led a couple routes, but the bolts didn't look that hot.

Nothing spectacular, but a lot better than Indian Joe. But not as good as castle.

Have fun.

it's not that bad, if you're starting in the midday, grotto and auburn are too far and rain makes castle and diablo unusable. Longer hike than i'd like, but good for interesting variations if you like sketch placements. havn't tried guadalupe rock though. Will head out today.

Not worth the hike if you ask me. The hike is actually nice, but not to fet to a 10 meters rock...I'd rather go to Castle Rock then
