There was a documentary on the toob about him a few years back. His then 2 year old son was laybacking up the pipes in the corner of the room. Awesome cool..

I wonder if those are really redpoint ascents? Headpointed.......? or simply toproped with a really long thin rope not visible to the naked eye. If he is Spiderman then he uses those sticky webs that come out of his hands!

According to the official website http://www.alainrobert.com Alain has soloed many routes in France and elsewhere. His hardest solos are up to 8b (5.13d) and he has onsited some 7a (5.11d) routes.

I looked but I couldn't find a list of redpoint efforts. Maybe someone else can provide that info.

I think his most recent published climb was for the grand opening of Taipei 101 on December 25, 2004. Taipei 101 is currently the worlds tallest building.
