I don't like placing pro. If someone does it for me, I'm fine. So, if I'm with equally pro-placing dysfuntionals, I say let the bolts fly and lets get sporting!!
But...make sure there can't be pro placed where your bolting. If it can be trad climbed, trad, but if it has to be top roped, then start drilling. Just make sure it matches the rock color.
