its trad(itional), not tracked
i would do trad, but i dont have any gear. i do some sport, but most of it is out of my reach.
the only thing about bolts is you dont know how deep, how old, or how strong they are unless you put them in yourself. at least with trad you know how protected you are.

I like to hope that the individual placing the bolts knows what's up. And one can always catch a shoddy bolting job anyways. Just look at the placement of them. If they appear placed so a fall wouldn't load the bolt correctly, or they are loose, don't climb it. Either way...I trust a bolt more than I do a Cam or some hexes. But that's just me.

Trad, man, it's all about the purity and maintaining the rock in a natural state. Besides, it's more challenging and technical, I like those aspects. If you place your gear right, back-up pro and take your time, not only will your technique improve (because you will learn to rely on technique rather than brute force) but also you will be way more confident when you do decide to get on a sport or top-roped route. Just my opinion, though.
