for future refrence, we got the mt. dix trio, hough and macomb this weekend. the slide climb on hough that is rated a protected 5th class climb isnt worth the extra weight in gear. it is no more than just a tough scramble. however there are some nice looking 100-150 ft cliffs on the red trail going up dix that arent listed in any climbing refrence. we didnt have enough trad on us to climb. but if anyone has any beta on this area pass it on.
