The comprehensive guide to the UAE is available on CD Rom in .pdf format
It is equivalent to approx 300 pages of A5, including around 100 photodiagrams and maps, together with detailed route descriptions, locations and approaches to all major climbing venues.

Wadi Bih (Lower, Central & Upper)

Wadi Khab a Shamis

Al Ain / Wonderwall
over 500 routes, on 50 separate crags, ranging from easy single pitches up to 500metre + mountaineering routes up to UIAA grade VI.
The hardest pitch to date is UK 6c - US 5.12c - UIAA IX -- Fr 7c - AUS 26
Mostly trad, but some sport climbing at Wonderwall, Wadi Bih, and Wadi Khab a Shamis.
At present all of the photodiagrams are in b/w, but the guide is currently being revised to incorporate the latest developments, and all diagrams are being redrawn on colour photos. Updated guide available early 2005.
The current version is currently available from http://alstark@blueyonder.co.uk price £11 sterling plus postage.

The guide has been fully revised with all diagrams in colour. New crags and routes added. Now 350 pages
