Hi,
I am going to be in Cape Town for a week in January 2005, and would be forever grateful if someone could take me climbing for a day or two or an afternoon. I do not care wheather it's sport or trad -- love it all. I will be more than happy to return the favor and show you around Southern California -- ;)

if you don't find anyone, climbing table mountain by a scrambling route is still very worthwhile. one of the routes i did pretty much went up under the gondola and had some 4th class sections that would be fine for just about anyone without a rope, and you get a chance to scope out most of the technical routes while you are at it.
