I know there is another deep-water solo area in W. Virginia,as featured in Climbing recently. Is anyone aware of other spots? I gotta try.

Where is the site in WV? That would be a great weekend trip. And where do we get ahold of the filming of that overseas expedition?

That West Virginia place would be Summerville Lake created by the Damming of the New River.

My Outing CLub was considering it, but it's still a bit cold in March and they let the water out the lake.

I went last year for spring break. We had one awesome day in tank tops by the lake a little sunburn. The next day we were hiking in an inch of snow. The weather in west virgina is quite unpredictable.

Looks like they are showing the a preview of the action at this years Banff Mtn Film Fest.

Psicobloc

USA, 2004, 8 minutes

Directed & produced by Josh Lowell

On the island of Mallorca, Klem Loskot and his friends establish spectacular routes on overhanging limestone up to 60 feet or 20 meters high. With no ropes and with the ocean as a crash pad, the climbing is unencumbered and the falls magnificent.
