Either way, he's a really tough guy to get ahold of, especially online and even more especially on this site. ;) Good luck!

Well that was an interesting way to bring up a year and a half old Christmas-time thread. I don't want to sound preachy, I have flamed myself, but I would like to add a little perspective so this won't blow up. I won't defend anyone nor scorn anyone for their passionate appeal, I will say that you have a way to contact Shawn, some of your friends have his new number, so perhaps a personal matter like this should be handled that way. It seems physical threats on the internet never come off well anyhow. i have been the target of a few myself. :D Lets not let some negativity someone left somewhere spawn a negativity train, hopefully others won't feel the need to join in. Those in the know can make up their minds on the events that occurred, as Gymslacker has done, and those that aren't in the know probably have no need to be involved anyhow. I can say that I do appreciate and understand the emotions involved though. :) On both sides. And Harlan, I know first hand how crazy and frustrating Shawn can be to deal with, but I think we should let those two handle it between themselves though, you and I should just leave it to them and have a beer. :D Peace. --Buddha

You can assume from the above posts that he is out and around, and has been for some time.

Wow, I haven't heard word one around here about him being out and about. Usually word travels quick in these parts.

Yup, but they're still around from time to time, not to mention the fact that almost always end up in the valley.

I don't know what to tell you. Shawn rigged the long highline and the classic highline, with some friends, at the Lost Arrow Spire in the Valley over the 4th of July, so again, he has been around, even in the Valley. You sound like you expected to be in the loop on this, so consider this an update. :D

Not trying to argue here, just curious. My wife told me he came into Nomad today, just a bit of a surprise since, as I have pointed out, word travels very fast around here. You really don't need to have you're "ear to the ground", regardless of the time of year. I hope things work out for him this time.

I asked about him in Nomads there in early June, and was told where he was. Maybe you're simply not as in-the-loop as you first thought.
