Hey all - been a few years since I've been climbing, but getting the itch to climb again. I should hit some sort of refresher on belaying, but otherwise, I'm a reasonable climber. Looking for someone to climb with on a regular basis (once a week) in a gym during the winter, and then outside this summer.
Anyone?

Check out "minnesotaclimbing.com" (sorry, I'm a techno-cretin, couldn't link it to save my life!) There are a bunch of us who climb at Vertical Endeavors; stop on in, introduce yourself - you'll have no trouble finding a partner, at minimum a belayer.

Much obliged. You going to be at VE on the 29th? I work Sunday through Wednesday until 7, but could be there by around 7:30. Would love to climb once before the new year.

Hey Gargoyle! Welcome to MPLS!
My regular climbing partner is out east w/ his family this week and you could do ME a favor by coming out to VE this Wed. 7:30 is fine by me.
Have to admit that I've seen the others in 'action' and I'm not even close to being as good as they are, but I can hold my own. No problem w/ the refresher on belaying.
