PENANG: French “Spiderman” Alain Robert is set to scale Penang’s tallest building – the 65-storey Komtar – in August in conjunction with its 25th anniversary celebration.
Without any safety equipment, the 39-year-old climber will use his bare hands and toes to ascend from the fifth floor to the 63rd floor while onlookers dine and party at a food-and-music carnival to be held at the open space fronting Jalan Dr Lim Chwee Leong.
