Any Ideas for Water Fall Ice 3/4 in close proximity to Boise, Idaho. We are willing to drive 3-4 hours. I know, it might be a stretch, but any input would be much appreciated..

Thanks,
Paul

I climbed Boy Scout Falls on Friday. It is in Teton Canyon right next to Grand Targhee ski resort. It was a fun climb, WI 3- in the conditions we found it. There are plenty of harder climbs in the canyon as well. It might be a bit over your 4 hour driving limit though.

I know of a flow that I think is around WI3 (and topropable), I haven't ice climbed much at all, so I am not too good with grades. It is near Marsing, maybe 45 minutes from Boise, and then a short hike. It is near Jump Creek if you know where that is... sorry I can't give you better directions, I've only been there twice a few years ago. If you feel like some extra company I would be willing to help you find it. I have a couple tools I bought on sale two years ago that still haven't seen any action due to lack of time and partners.
