I am looking for a guidebook for the Needles in California. If anyone knows how to get a hold of one it would be much appreciated!

The book is called "Southern Sierra Rock Climbing: The Needles" Whether it's still in print or not, I'm not sure. Good luck!

YA, The guide has been out of print for more than a year. Guides may still be found, but they're getting scarce.

take a notebook with you to the Ponderosa or the lookout tower and copy the info from there. the book is out of print and my copy seems to be with "friends" in SF anyways
Seriously, the copy at the Ponderosa is the most up-to-date of all, because new routes and route hazards are almost always drawn into it by the people who put them up.

I dont have any idea if they still have copies, I bought mine in Feb.

edit, the book is Southern Sierra Climbing: The Needles by Vernon, Moser and Child ( I think) the above site calls the book Sierra Needles
