Just entered some new routes (put up in 2003) to the Alabama Hills section, especially 2 new walls, Chocolate Block and Hell Wall. While these walls were not covered in the Strassman guidebook, you need it to find various walls as references to locate the new stuff. The climbs haven't seen many ascents, so beware of loose stuff (ha ha ha - like anyone who's climbed there needs to be warned!).

greg Are these routes north of Movir Flat. where the road gets to its furthest easr directionit it turns north You take a right there and enter a basin, Chocalate Box must be the crag on the southwest side, high on the hill. Saw some real quality rotes up there...Are they yours? And why don't you call me up to go climbind? I sure was jealous! I got a new area near my house I have been working on. But the only partner I could find is the 10 year old girl across the street. Everyone else around here is busy or is a tweeker. Stay in touch Mike
